Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements are used to assist students in taking the appropriate courses at the community colleges that will transfer for credit toward a bachelor's or associate degree at the college or university of their choice. Mount St. Mary's College has a number of formal articulation agreements with community colleges in the Los Angeles area including those listed below.

Each articulation agreement is divided into three sections.

Section I Lists relevant information about MSMC General Studies Requirements. The General Studies requirements at MSMC include five areas: Communication Skills; Analytical Skills; Arts & Sciences; Modern Language, Religious Studies and Philosophy.

Section II Lists lower division courses within five major areas selected by MSMC Admission and Advisement offices for Articulation due to their complexity. These five majors are Biological Sciences with emphasis in Pre- Physical Therapy, Business, English, Nursing, and Social Work.

Section III Lists lower division courses within the Liberal Studies major, selected by the Education Department for articulation. Students interested in a Liberal Studies major at MSMC should disregard section I and II.

Agreements are updated every two years. Please refer to the Catalog and the articulation agreements themselves for more specific information.
